Time and Attendance – Hygiene and Options After Covid-19

timekeeping

A question that has been raised more recently and with increasing frequency relates to time and attendance devices and hygiene and we thought we would take the opportunity to discuss the options that Tambla has available for you.

No-Contact to improve Hygene

With the increase in COVID-19 cases and evidence that the virus can spread via hard surfaces, it is more important than ever that the devices are kept clean to reduce risk and to play your part in slowing the spread.  When it comes to hygiene our standard, best practice recommendations apply.  All Tambla devices are moisture resistant and sensors, screens and other surfaces on the devices can be cleaned with antiseptic or alcohol-based cleaning wipes that are commonly available and without risk of damage.  You could also look at the opportunity to install, or position near the devices, hand sanitiser stations.

There are other options that help to reduce community contact too.

Tambla Time and Attendance Devices

Our Time & Attendance time clocks provide a zero-touch option and uses the latest in facial recognition capabilities to provide fast, ultra-reliable recognition in a wide variety of situations.  Their Infra-red capability works in situations where excessively low or high lighting may be an issue and of course it is weather-proof for indoor and outdoor use.

Many of the Tambla models support a variety of ID cards that can be used in place of a fingerprint or facial recognition, and this can be implemented as an alternative.

Where a physical device is not an option, or your users or business has a preference for personal devices, the TamblaOne App contains a range of employee and manager self service functions and can be used for mobile clocking and supports geo-fencing.

Over the last few years we have worked with numerous clients in the Tambla Community to transition from older devices to facial recognition and from physical devices to mobile clocking – often reducing maintenance costs while providing your employees with an engaging, self-service App. The TamblaOne app is available now and the set-up configuration requirements for your system are very light-on.

If you’re interested in the transition to mobile – or for any of the options discussed here, please reach out and we’ll be more than happy to discuss options with you.

As always, we’re here to support you as a partner over the coming months and into the future.
